There is so much more to being a great Associate Project Manager than project plans, timelines, and status reports. At Softchoice, our Associate Project Managers in the Professional Services PMO team act as an extension of the entire brand-focused on understanding and delighting our customers.  As a representative of Softchoice, you will be more than a coordinator.  You will guide customers and our partner community members through challenges, foster alignment among stakeholders, and serve as the trusted adviser both internally and externally.

What you'll do:

  • Execute and support the delivery of customer projects in accordance with the approved Statement of Work (SOW)
  • Coordinate project activities and collaborate with different stakeholders, both internally and externally
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Professional Services PMO practice
  • Help uncover the customer's broader business objectives and align project execution to deliver measurable outcomes
     

What you'll bring to the table:

  • 2+ years of related work experience as a Project Coordinator, Associate Project Manager, Junior Project Manager, or within a professional services or consulting environment
  • Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent business acumen with strong written and verbal communication in English and French
  • Ability to build relationships and effectively navigate challenges in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of major business technologies is an asset (Microsoft 365, Azure, Cloud, Data & AI, Security, Infrastructure, or Managed Services)
  • Post-secondary education preferred
  • CAPM, CSM, PMP, Agile, or other project management certifications are considered an asset
  • Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends to support project delivery requirements

Compensation:

Corporate/Pay Mix: A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position in Toronto is $62,400 to $78,000,annually + 8% as target incentives. 

Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including location, experience, skill set, education, and related certification. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ.
