Job description

Senior Software Developer (Java, Springboot, Angular, Python, SSIS)
Location: Tampa Bay, FL (Hybrid role, 3 days onsite and 2 days remote)
 
Note: Must be authorised to work for any employer and willing to work on W2 only. Can't do C2C or 1099.
 
Will:
- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain web-based applications, APIs, integrations, reports, and ETL processes
- Build and maintain APIs, integrating both internal and third-party services
- Develop, test, and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and data models for performance and reliability
- Create and support data integrations using ETL tools, with emphasis on SSIS
- Develop reports and dashboards using SSRS, Tableau, or similar visualization tools
Required:
- 8-15 years of hands-on software development experience
- Expertise in back-end development using Java, Python, Spring Boot, or similar
- Proficiency in front-end development with Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS
- Strong SQL skills for writing queries, stored procedures, and optimizing database performance
- Experience with Oracle and/or SQL Server databases
- Proven ability to build, consume, and troubleshoot APIs
- Practical experience with data analysis and integration
- Strong troubleshooting and production support capabilities
Preferred:
- Experience with SSIS ETL tools
- Proficiency using SSRS and Tableau for reporting and dashboards
- Oracle database development and performance tuning
- Background in financial services, asset management, or regulated industries
- Application modernization and legacy system support
