Job description

Kimley-Horn is looking for an experienced Software Developer in our Phoenix, Arizona (AZ) office! This is not a remote position.


  • Develop integrations with existing and new vendor platforms to extend out-of-the-box functionality via API’s, Webhooks, Flat Files, etc.
  • Build and optimize Web APIs to facilitate data exchange between internal software products and third-party vendor platforms
  • SQL Database Administration (performance tuning and maintenance, agent jobs, monitoring)
  • Translate business requirements into scalable back-end processes to help streamline and improve daily workflows
  • Contribute to technical design for existing and emerging products in Kimley-Horn’s portfolio
  • Document, support, and maintain integrations and applications post deployment
  • Participate in code reviews and provide quality assurance/quality control
  • Quickly evaluate bugs, and apply hot fixes to resolve issues
  • Understand and apply best practices; remain knowledgeable of trends in the software development industry
