Salary: $145k-$190k (depending on experience)
We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer to design, develop, and enhance software solutions that support mission-critical systems. This role involves researching, analyzing user needs, and applying advanced principles of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis to deliver robust and efficient applications. The position may also include integrating hardware and software systems, developing specifications, and maintaining databases within application areas.
Essential Functions:
  • Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs.
  • Analyze user requirements and translate them into effective software solutions.
  • Update and enhance existing software capabilities to improve performance and functionality.
  • Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate systems and define specifications and performance requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned or required.

Requirements
Required:
  • Minimum 7 years of software development experience, including at least 5 years working with DoD systems.
  • Strong knowledge of software engineering principles, programming languages, and system integration.
  • Ability to work independently and in collaborative team environments.

Desired:
  • Familiarity with secure coding practices and DoD cybersecurity standards.
  • Experience with database development and maintenance.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Education:
Master's degree in Engineering, Technical, Business, or Computer Science/IT discipline.
Security Clearance:
Active Top Secret clearance required. Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc.
