Job description

Our client in Plano, TX, is in search of an on-site Lead Software Developer for a 1-year contract (possible conversion to FT) opportunity to design, build, and maintain applications that support business units across the organization. You’ll write high-quality code, lead technical initiatives, mentor developers, and help shape scalable, modern software solutions. This is a hands-on technical leadership role—no direct reports, but you’ll guide code reviews, architecture decisions, and delivery of high-impact software.

COMP: Up to $95/HR depending on candidate experience, etc.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Write clean, efficient, reusable code for scalable applications
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex issues using root cause analysis

  • Tech Stack Must Have: C#, Java, JavaScript, Python, HTML/CSS, SQL/T-SQL & ASP.NET & RESTful APIs
  • Agile/Scrum environment; some waterfall for larger projects
  • Must be comfortable building and maintaining test scripts
  • Azure or strong OS familiarity is highly desired
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices
  • Familiarity with front-end and back-end frameworks (Angular, Bootstrap, ASP.NET, Node.js)
