Description
Q-Lab Corporation is currently seeking a Software Developer II. Reporting to the Business Applications Supervisor, this role will be responsible for developing and maintaining Q-Lab's web, database, and client/server business applications as well as designing and implementing front-end user interfaces using Microsoft Visual Studio technologies, including WinForms, ASP.NET, VB .NET, and C#, among other duties.
This position is hybrid/onsite in Westlake, OH.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain Q-Lab's web, database, and client/server business applications.
  • Design and implement front-end user interfaces using Microsoft Visual Studio technologies, including WinForms, ASP.NET, VB .NET, and C#.
  • Design, optimize, and maintain Microsoft SQL Server databases, stored procedures, and business logic.
  • Leverage Q-Lab's AI capabilities to automate coding and implementation.
  • Follow Q-Lab's established software development standards, coding practices, and technical methodologies.
  • Support and enhance software systems across multiple business areas, including Sales, Repair, Marketing, Accounting, Purchasing, Order Desk, and Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS)
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define workflows, and translate operational needs into technical solutions.
  • Produce business requirements documents, technical specifications, and software design documentation.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and improve existing software applications and database systems.
  • Participate in software architecture discussions, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills:
  • 3-5+ years of professional work experience.
  • Evidence of achievement developing software solutions.
  • Deep knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and .NET (Winforms and ASP .NET)
