Cisco Norway is a global leader in developing video conferencing technology - helping millions of people connect and collaborate worldwide. At our innovation center just outside Oslo, you'll join 300+ engineers working with hardware and software - from idea to design, mechanics, audio, media processing and artificial intelligence. Our solutions are trusted by businesses, universities, governments and organizations around the world.

One of the engineering teams, the Audio Software team, is now looking for a passionate engineer to join the team. We are responsible for developing the audio algorithms that run on our video devices. You will be part of the team, but also work closely with other hardware, software, and product teams to integrate the audio solutions seamlessly into our product stack.

You are an enthusiastic and skilled engineer who loves to work on high quality communications products. You are a team player who challenges the status quo with creation and innovation. You can figure things out by yourself, but you are comfortable participating in our friendly and team-oriented collaboration approach to learn from others.

  • Develop and deploy audio processing algorithms on our video conferencing devices
  • Use modern ML frameworks to develop new audio algorithms
  • Take ideas from concept to production, directly improving the experience for millions of users
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Machine Learning, or a closely related technical field
  • Programming experience in C++ or Python
Preferred Qualifications
  • A problem solver with a strong eagerness to learn new skills and expand your knowledge in a constantly evolving field
  • Strong interest in or experience with audio signal processing
  • Familiarity with ML framework
  • Experience with embedded software development
