The AVP, Sr. Software Engineer leads and contributes to engineering projects for Revantage and its PortCos and Blackstone investments. The role involves designing, developing and maintaining modern software solutions that leverage data to drive business insights and support critical decisions. The position requires seasoned engineers with experience building event-driven, serverless, microservice-based and scalable cloud solutions. This role can be based in Dallas or Chicago.

Responsibilities

Lead and contribute to engineering projects for Revantage and Blackstone portfolio companies.Design, develop and maintain data-driven software solutions.Build and operate event-driven, serverless and microservice-based architectures in the cloud.Collaborate with teams to drive automation, testing and reliable delivery of software solutions.Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including design, implementation, testing and deployment.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Minimum of 7 years of software engineering experience.
  • Significant experience developing applications in Python or .NET.
  • Experience building cloud-based solutions (Azure or AWS).
  • Experience building serverless (FaaS) workloads on Azure or AWS.
  • Solid understanding of event-based and containerized workloads.
  • Knowledge of application logging and monitoring services and patterns.
  • Experience developing, hosting and supporting REST APIs.
  • Knowledge of testing methodologies, frameworks and test-driven development.
Compensation and Benefits

Base Compensation Range: $127,000.00 to $170,000.00 annually. This range represents the presently anticipated base pay for this position and may vary by location and experience. Total Direct Compensation may include discretionary bonuses and incentive compensation. Benefits include health insurance, retirement savings, paid holidays and PTO. Terms and conditions of plans and eligibility apply and are subject to change.
