deciBel Research has an immediate opening for a software developer in Dayton, OH.Position Description: deciBel Research is a seeking a Software Developer with versatile technical skills in computer science and computer engineering who will employ information system architecture, management, and automation techniques.Responsibilities Include:Architect / rearchitect an information system that enables distributed systems and software engineering based on new and evolving requirements.Writing/updating existing scripts, writing custom code with web-based API and cloud formation scripts.Interface with information technology and cybersecurity staff to understand cyber requirements and ensure that the information system continues to meet corporate standards when baseline changes are required.Education Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field from an accredited university.Experience Requirements:3+ years of programming experience.Knowledge of Kubernetes ecosystem tools (Kubernetes, Argo Workflows, Argo CD), OpenSearch, Docker desired.Special Skills Desired:Familiarity with cloud-based processing concepts and platforms - such as Amazon Web Services.Applicant selected must have an active security clearance, Preferably TS/SCI.
