Job description

Primary Responsibilities

  • Support process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce waste
  • Assist in collecting, analyzing, and reporting production and quality data
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, maintenance, and quality
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts and team meetings
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures

Job Duties

  • Assist with troubleshooting manufacturing issues and root cause analysis
  • Help develop and update work instructions and standard operating procedures
  • Design parts and create fabrication drawings using SolidWorks and AutoCAD
  • Identify and evaluate cost-saving opportunities
  • Observe and support daily manufacturing operations on the production floor
  • Perform additional tasks and projects as assigned

Education and Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, or related)
  • Completed at least sophomore-level coursework preferred
  • Basic understanding of engineering principles and manufacturing processes
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, CAD software, or data analysis preferred
  • Exposure to Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement concepts is a plus
  • Ability to work in both office and manufacturing environments, including use of PPE and extended periods of standing or walking
