Job Description
Emerging Technology Support is comprised of a diverse array oftechnical experts and skilled practitioners providing operationssupport, formal training, certification and research and developmentconsultancy to all echelons of the Defense, Intelligence, and LawEnforcement Communities. We are seeking a highly motivated and adeptprofessional to join our Northern Virginia based operation.
TheAdvanced Technical Instructor's primary role is to conduct classroom,vehicle, and scenario-based training. The instructor's responsibilitiesprimarily include all aspects of instruction and the learning experienceof students. Additionally, the instructor may also functionconcurrently as the program coordinator or as acontent-creator/curriculum-developer. Instructors will collaborate withfaculty, staff, students, and clients to design, develop, deliver,evaluate, and modify courses. ETS Instructors will also provide on-goingsupport to other instructors, as well as to students both past andpresent. Instructors should expect to provide a learning experience viaonline, hybrid, and traditional delivery methods. Instructors shouldhave a general understanding of academic goals and pedagogy, as well aspromote the awareness of new learning opportunities available to clientsthrough ETS. Instructors can expect to travel at least 50% of the time, annually.
Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
  • 4+ years military experience in an intelligence focused MOS
  • 2+ years experience with basic Computer Operations, Computer Networking, WiFi and Linux
  • Knowledgeable on radio frequency theory, antenna theory, and field-expedient antenna construction
  • Experience and knowledge of cellular communications protocols including GSM, CDMA, UMTS, LTE and 5G NR
  • Experience with WiFi Commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) and Open-Source tools
  • Experience with cellular based Government-off-the-shelf, COTS and Open-Source tools
  • Must have understanding of technical collection, exploitation, and geolocation to include the targeting process
  • Proficient with Windows, Linux and Microsoft Office Products
  • Experience preparing and delivering classroom instruction
  • Ability to rapidly learn how to use new software and equipment
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills for working in a team environment
  • High school diploma
  • Valid driver's license
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with the ability to pass a CI polygraph

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelorof Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Cyber Security, ComputerScience, Information Technology or a closely related field
  • Basic Instructor Certification; TRADOC or equivalent Basic Instructor Training Course
  • Minimum of one industry-standard computer or network certification (Network+, Security+, A+, Linux+)
  • Current T&C operator/instructor certifications for Modes 1-3, 5, & 6
  • Amateur Extra Class HAM Certification
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative and set priorities with multiple projects
