Electrical Engineering Co-op - Fall 2026
Based in Minster, Ohio, Nidec Press & Automation is a world-class supplier of equipment and services for the material forming industry. Nidec Minster presses and material handling equipment are in production in more than 87 countries around the world. Nidec Minster is currently seeking an Electrical Engineering Co-op who is looking to advance their knowledge by gaining hands-on work experience. Job responsibilities will primarily consist of CAD drawings, documenting designs, and problem-solving in a team environment under the mentorship of an experienced engineer.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Create and revise electrical CAD diagrams as required.
  • PLC and touchscreen programming.
  • Appropriately document specifications for purchased items.
  • Research press history required to answer both internal and external customer requests.
  • Maintain accurate press records, both drawings and BOM's, based on aftermarket upgrades.
  • Assist with any questions originating from the manufacturing environment (suppliers, assembly floor).
  • Time on the assembly floor assisting electrical technicians with machine wiring.
  • The Electrical Engineering co-op will work closely with full time Electrical Engineers and gain more responsibility as experience and skills progress.

Qualifications:
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Minimum of 3.0 GPA
