Job description

AEITS, Inc., a GTSC company, is growing its team! Seeking a Reverse Engineer Software Engineer, Level 2.

Location: Hanover, MD

All work is on-site. This is not a hybrid or remote position.

Mission: Mastery of Python, C, or C++ with experience in multi-platform (Windows/UNIX) architecture with advanced skill in managing automated CI/CD environments using Docker, Ansible, Jenkins, and Bamboo and delivering under tight resource constraints.

Clearance: Active Top Secret SCI with appropriate polygraph.

Certifications: None.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 14 years of experience in high-complexity software contracts and programs.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (equivalent professional experience may be considered).
  • Technical Proficiency: Mastery of Python, C, or C++ with experience in multi-platform (Windows/UNIX) architecture.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated experience leading software teams and mentoring junior developers.


Technical & Strategic Responsibilities

  • System Architecture: Translate complex mission requirements into scalable software designs and technical roadmaps.
  • Advanced Data Engineering: Expertise in handling massive datasets and optimizing performance for high-stakes environments.
  • Quality Assurance Oversight: Lead the creation of global test plans and oversee the execution of rigorous QA procedures.
  • DevOps Proficiency: Advanced skill in managing automated CI/CD environments using Docker, Ansible, Jenkins, and Bamboo.


Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with Elasticsearch.
  • Front End development experience.
  • Superior problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering under tight resource constraints.
