Job Summary:
Onyx Point, LLC. is seeking a Software Engineer 2 with an active TS/SCI security clearance. The role involves translating complex requirements into software designs, overseeing quality assurance, and managing CI/CD environments.
Responsibilities:
• Translate complex mission requirements into scalable software designs and technical roadmaps.
• Expertise in handling massive datasets and optimizing performance for high-stakes environments.
• Lead the creation of global test plans and oversee the execution of rigorous QA procedures.
• Advanced skill in managing automated CI/CD environments using Docker, Ansible, Jenkins, and Bamboo.
Qualifications:
Required:
• An active TS/SCI W/ FULL SCOPE POLYGRAPH SECURITY CLEARANCE (U.S. CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED)
• Minimum 14 years of experience in high-complexity software contracts and programs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (equivalent professional experience may be considered).
• Mastery of Python, C, or C++ with experience in multi-platform (Windows/UNIX) architecture.
• Demonstrated experience leading software teams and mentoring junior developers.
• Translate complex mission requirements into scalable software designs and technical roadmaps.
• Expertise in handling massive datasets and optimizing performance for high-stakes environments.
• Lead the creation of global test plans and oversee the execution of rigorous QA procedures.
• Advanced skill in managing automated CI/CD environments using Docker, Ansible, Jenkins, and Bamboo.
Preferred:
• Familiarity with Elasticsearch.
• Front End development experience.
• Superior problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering under tight resource constraints.
