This role is critical for minimizing errors, tracking changes, and supporting compliance in software development projects.

What do software configuration managers do?

The job duties of a software configuration manager involve overseeing the build and release of software. Your responsibilities in this career include version control to track revisions made to the source code of programs, and you may use a GIT system to track such changes.
