IGS is currently recruiting a remote Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) Administrator to support our work with our federal customer.

Assignment of Work and Travel:

This is a remote access assignment. The Candidate will work remotely daily and will remotely access customer systems and therein use approved customer provided communications systems. Travel is not required; however, the candidate may be required to attend onsite client meetings as requested.

IGS is seeking a detail-oriented Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) Administrator to provide software packaging, application deployment, and systems administration support for a federal client. The MECM Administrator will play a critical role in maintaining dependable application delivery across the VA enterprise and will directly support mission-critical systems used by VA employees and healthcare providers nationwide. 

Responsibilities and Duties (Included but not limited to):

• Preparation, configuration, testing, validation, and deployment of application packages using Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM) across laboratory, testing, and production environments.
• Support application delivery across virtualized and multi-session environments, ensuring applications are packaged and deployed securely, reliably, and in accordance with established enterprise standards.
• Solid understanding of MSI/MST packaging concepts and the ability to perform package reviews.
• Other duties as assigned.

•  4–7+ years of system administration experience with strong SCCM/MECM skills
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or other technical discipline required, or a minimum of 6 years equivalent work experience.
• Solid understanding of MSI/MST packaging concepts and the ability to perform package reviews. 
• Certifications such as Microsoft MECM, MD-102/MD-104, VMware VCP, Azure Fundamentals, or Security+. 
• Required: PowerShell knowledge (automation, troubleshooting, scripting)
• Ability to read, interpret, and troubleshoot SCCM deployment logs.
• Experience with VMware vSphere, multi-session environments, and Windows OS internals.
• Strong working knowledge of Active Directory.
• Strong collaboration skills for working with testers and packagers.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Intune and Azure services.
• Ability to obtain government Public Trust.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work in the United States without Sponsorship due to clearance requirement
• Strong organizational skills

  Preferred Qualifications and Core Competencies:

• Prior, experience supporting federal agencies, especially the Department of Veterans Affairs.
• Prior, successful experience working in a remote environment

Compensation: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary, including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
