Job description

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field. Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience. Agile experience preferred.  

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is obtainable within a reasonable amount of time after hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.


ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:

As a Configuration Management Software Build Manager, you’ll define and utilize software configuration management tools to support configuration identification, control, reporting and delivery of both internally developed and externally acquired software products. Your expertise in creating, reviewing and approving software documentation will enable you to successfully train other software developers in the use of configuration management tools.

  • Proficiency in Software Configuration Management Applications and Tools including Gitlab, IBM EWM, and Windchill ePDM
  • Proficiency in Linux and Windows command-line architectures
  • Proficiency in scripting languages including Bash and Python

  • Considerable understanding and wide application of technical principles, theories and concepts in the field of Configuration Management
  • General knowledge of other related disciplines including Software Development
  • Highly proficient in the use of all MS Office Suite applications
  • Proficient use of Appian applications including Jira and Confluence
  • Proficient use of VDI toolsets including Horizon clients and MobaXterm
  • Solid multi-tasking and prioritization, ability to exercise independent judgment within defined practices and procedures to determine appropriate actions, receiving minimal instruction on day-to-day work following general instructions on new assignments, and independently determining and developing solution
  • Identifies opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation
