Bookkeeper / Office Assistant

Keith Realty, Inc. – Mobile, AL

Salary: $35,000 per year
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Location: 13 South Florida Street, Mobile, AL 36606

About Us

Keith Realty, Inc. is a family-owned and operated property management company that has proudly served the Mobile area for over 25 years. We manage approximately 300 single-family homes and are looking for a dependable, organized, and customer-focused Bookkeeper / Office Assistant to join our team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys bookkeeping, working with people, and being part of a stable, locally owned business.

Responsibilities

  • Enter vendor invoices into our property management software
  • Process and pay vendor invoices
  • Reconcile bank accounts and maintain accurate financial records
  • Prepare monthly owner statements
  • Collect rent payments from tenants
  • Answer incoming phone calls and provide excellent customer service
  • Assist prospective tenants with rental inquiries
  • Enter and track tenant maintenance requests
  • Assist with the collection of past-due rent
  • Provide general office and administrative support

Qualifications

  • Basic bookkeeping or accounting experience preferred, but not required
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Comfortable using computers and learning new software
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently
  • Dependable, professional, and team-oriented
