Assistant Store Director

Position Summary:

Location: Pierce & South King County Area

Employment Durations Full time

Pay Range: $27.15 - $30.15 (depending on experience)

Hours Per Week: 40 regular hours + 7.5 overtime hours. Five 10-hour shifts with half hour lunch break.

Saar's Super Saver Foods is a successful independent grocery store chain in the state of Washington. Saar’s has eight area locations. We are a value-based retailer who specializes in ethnic food offerings. We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Assistant Store Director. All new Assistant Store Directors are store managers in training. Training is conducted on the job between the assistant store director and the store director.


Duties

· Ensures grocery departments are fully stocked, faced, and rotated, following established merchandising procedures.

· Ensures that sales floor department shelves, displays, aisles, and storage areas are maintained in a clean and orderly condition

· Oversee the design and implementation of procedures for ordering, receiving, inventory tracking, and back-room organization

· Ensures customer needs are met, complaints are resolved, and service is quick and efficient

·Provides support to sales associates during peak periods or when scheduling conflicts arise

·Reviews invoices for accuracy

Qualifications

·Minimum one year experience in retail management

·Great people skills and positive attitude

·Proven Profit/Loss responsibility

· Ability to work at multiple locations

· Multiple years of retail merchandising experience
