Position Summary
The Graduate Assistant for Softball Operations (Graduate Assistant) is a non-coaching position that is responsible for duties including, but not limited to, all aspects of day-to-day functions for the UIW Women's Softball team. The Graduate Assistant for Softball Operations reports to the Head Softball Coach.
This is a student position open to current UIW graduate students.
Essential Functions
  • Handle team travel and meals.
  • Assist with fundraising.
  • Serve as the office manager.
  • Assist Head Coach with game-day marketing and ticketing.
  • Perform other jobs duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Self-starter and ability to work without supervision.
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures.
  • Ability to work nights and weekends.
  • Employee shall adhere to all applicable rules and regulations of the University, the Conference, and the NCAA.

Current UIW graduate student.
Required Work Experience
None.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience playing college sports.
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Word, Photoshop.

Required Certifications, Licenses or Registrations
None.
Work Hours
Monday through Friday and some weekends, up to 25 hours.
Physical Demands
Ability to lift equipment, tools, and/or materials weighing up to 15 pounds waist-high.
