Soft Tech Consulting is seeking a highly motivated, innovative individual to fill the role of Full Stack Software Engineer. The designated candidate for this position will join a collaborative team environment, providing technical analysis, design and guidance to support the successful delivery of the project and provide effective communication to all levels of staff for reporting system environment status.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create and execute software development plans via the System Design Plan utilizing the Software Engineering Lifecycle (SELC) methodology.
  • Build and maintain a development and test environment.
  • Update system design plans for the environment on all domains in the AWS cloud, in formats accessible for consumption.
  • Modify system based on new system releases, associated emergent technology, and cybersecurity compliance.
  • Build new data feeds or enhance existing data feeds to support data sharing across the Intel Community.
  • Develop new system features to support end user requirements.
  • Manage the installation/upgrade of cloud architectures and workstation hosted CG capability software.
  • Manage and control configurations and changes to the system. Maintain steady state operations and provide maintenance when industry standards are indicated, upgrades and updates to systems are required, as warranty specifies, as program requirements are changed, and as security indicates.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor s Degree or higher in Information Technology/Cyber Security or any related Technical field.
  • Minimum of 8 years overall experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years specific related experience.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in leading a team of developers.

Required Experience

  • Work within the development teams to ideate software solutions.
  • Previous experience creating modern web-based apps that support the visualization of data.
  • Write effective APIs and Lambda functions in AWS.
  • Create unit tests for developed code while mitigating code smells, security hotspots, and aligning with best code practices.
  • Troubleshoot, debug & upgrade software.
  • Experience with React with preferred background in Typescript.
  • Experience with VSCode/Chrome development.
  • Experience with AWS Infrastructure as a Service (IAAS).
  • Experience with information systems in a Classified environment.
  • Experience with software development in the cloud space.
  • Experience with JAVA, SQL, C# and HTML.
  • Experience with ORM framework such as Hibernate.
  • Top Secret with the ability to attain SCI/Poly requirement.
  • A+, Security+, CASP+, or CISSP certification (or comparable certification) required.

Preferred Experience:

  • Previous consulting experience and understanding customer/business needs.
  • Experience leveraging CI/CD tooling such as Jenkins, Git/BitBucket, SonarQube.
  • Experience with Agile practices a plus.
  • Experience with source control management (e.g., Git).
  • Cross Domain experience.
