Required Education, Experience, & Skills:
A Bachelor's or Master's degree are preferred with a minimum of Sixteen (16) year's relevant experience with the following skillsets:
โ€ข In depth knowledge of network architecture, design, and implementation
โ€ข In depth knowledge of specific network technologies such as routing and switching
o Familiar with routing protocols such as EIGRP, BGP, ISIS
o Familiar with switching protocols such as STP, LACP, VTP
โ€ข In depth knowledge of network automation
โ€ข Cloud networking (AWS, Azure, Google)
โ€ข Software-defined networking (SD-WAN)
โ€ข Ability to provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
โ€ข Experience with creating technical documentation such as designs, implementation plans, and technical notes
โ€ข Ability to brief designs to review boards
โ€ข Knowledge in deploying MPLS networks
โ€ข Ability to learn, understand and implement new technologies
โ€ข Independent learner with a proven ability to master complex technical concepts through self-study and practice
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills:
โ€ข Adept in network engineering, with focus on design, implementation, and management of complex networks
โ€ข Experience with network architecture, design, and implementation in a large-scale environment
โ€ข Proven track record of successfully resolving complex network issues and improving network performance
โ€ข Willing to learn new technologies
