Position Title Part Time Soft Skills Training Instructors - Spanish Campus Cranford, Elizabeth, Plainfield, and other off campus locations as needed Department Industry-Business Institute Full-time, Part-time, Adjunct Part Time Exempt or Non-Exempt Non-Exempt Regular,Temporary, or Grant Temporary General Description
Assume the responsibilities for the instruction of the Soft Skills training program in Spanish. Report to the Director. Off-campus work within Union County may be required. Course content includes:
Interpersonal Skills
Communications
Workplace Readiness
Teamwork
Customer Service
Problem Solving
Critical Thinking
Time Management
Computer Basics Training (Intro to Google docs, MS Office suite)
Online Resources for Job Search
Job Search Basics
Not required to teach all content as multiple instructors collaborate in program.
Characteristics, Duties, and Responsibilities
Responsible for classroom instruction.
Maintain daily attendance.
Other related duties.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in related field required or an equivalent combination of education, industry certification and/or experience to demonstrate core competencies.
3 - 5 years relevant instructional experience.

This position's duties are normally performed in a typical interior/residence work environment, based on the activity scheduled.
