We're looking for an exceptional Graphic Designer to combine their experience, problem solving abilities, and creativity to help create the future of Global Football Accessories at Nike. The ideal candidate will be a highly creative problem solver who brings passion for sport and curiosity to work across multiple platforms and variety of product types including balls, bags, socks and headwear. This person will be focused on elevating the consumer experience by delivering creative solutions across all accessory products for Global Football, while driving an emotional connection to the Nike Brand through rich and compelling narratives.
This role requires passion and creativity, along with versatility and focus to see designs through the product creation process. This designer is a dedicated team player that knows how to collaborate, receive feedback, and manage multiple projects at any given time. This designer can also translate complex insights into authentic narratives and create compelling solutions that will help define the future of Nike Accessories.
What You'll Work On:
Concepting, sketching, and presenting groundbreaking innovative designs. You will collaborate across functional teams to deliver your ideas to physical products. This could include working with your development and business partners, along with Athletes*, down to the smallest details from choosing trims and print applications to creating presentations to be communicated to broader audiences both internally and externally. You will use your skills to contribute to and create narratives and visuals across a variety of products. You will be challenged by a wide range of responsibilities and experiences
Who You'll Work With:
You will be working with multiple teams of designers, developers, and product managers to deliver creative solutions in line with the Nike Design Ethos. This opportunity will require strong collaborative skills to meet timelines, ensure feasibility of designs, while building consensus around your work and thinking. This role does not have direct reports and will report directly to the Accessories Graphic Director.
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience, and training.
- 5 years or more of graphic design experience at agency or in-house setting.
- Passion and understanding of current and emerging design trends and visual culture
- Ability to translate insights into authentic narratives and visual storytelling
- Ability to adapt to change and handle multiple, competing priorities
- Proficient understanding of typography design and trends
- Strong visual and verbal communication skills, able to effectively present design intent to internal and external audiences
- Proficient in sketching, illustration, print and pattern, color theory and layout
- Proficient in graphic applications, development, PR and schematic tools and the apparel product creation processes
- Proficient in Adobe CC, CLO 3D and comfortable working within new digital spaces
- Highlight and elevate diverse points of view while fostering an environment of inclusivity
- Experience working and communicating with internal and external partners to ensure the accuracy of intent and graphic execution across a wide range of product types
- Passion for design, sport, strategic thinking, and curiosity
