SUMMARY:
Works in a two man team. Assembles encased cil type mattress units by attaching sides/ends and bottom to encased coil unit using a glue gun and/or hog rings. Operator also installs FR socks to the hybrid style units or other duties assigned by supervisor.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Moves the mattress on and off table and onto cart.
  • Glues topper and side rails to units.
  • Maintains clean work area and follows proper safety procedures
  • Refills glue pot as needed throughout the day.
  • Must be able to perform each essential job function satisfactory.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • Continuous walking and standing (standing at workstation, walking short distances)
  • Frequent handling (lifting) of mattresses on worktable and from workstation to cart.
  • Occasional lifting and carrying of items weighing up to 50 pounds.
