Socket is seeking a highly skilled Fiber Construction Coordinator to join our dynamic construction team. This role will ensure that construction projects stay within their designated budget and deadline. This position will include overseeing the technical, financial and personal aspects of all projects.


This is NOT a remote position. Candidate must be located in the East Missouri / West Illinois area.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Ensure projects meet deadlines, stay within budget, and comply with regulatory and quality control requirements
  • Communicate and manage project expectations
  • Manage Multiple stakeholders
  • Anticipate and solve any issues that may arise
  • Develop progress reports, proposals, and presentations for stakeholders and company leadership
  • Conduct post project analysis and define successes and areas for improvement
  • Oversee contractors
  • Locating utility lines while we continue to grow in the area
  • Appropriate and detailed documentation

Skills:

  • Time management
  • Previous experience in the Telecommunications field preferred
  • Customer service skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Desired Skills:

  • Project management experience
  • Class E License
  • Bachelor's degree in related field preferred but not required
  • Experience in fiber design and fiber splicing preferred
