Work Environment

In this remote role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with school administrators, teachers, and other professionals to create a supportive network for students. Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and manage individualized support plans that address the specific needs of students and families facing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges.
  • Conduct thorough assessments through interviews and observations to evaluate clients' current conditions, strengths, needs, and weaknesses.
  • Set measurable goals tailored to each client, revisiting and adjusting these goals regularly based on progress and feedback.
  • Provide counseling and guidance during sessions to help clients make informed decisions about their mental health and well-being.
  • Maintain meticulous records of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes as per ethical and legal standards.
  • Facilitate case conferences and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive service delivery.
  • Act as a key advocate for clients, making appropriate referrals to community resources that empower recovery and promote self-sufficiency.
  • Stay updated on relevant state and federal regulations pertaining to social work practice in school settings.

Qualifications
