• Deliver exceptional counseling and psychotherapy sessions tailored to the unique needs of each client, addressing a range of mental health issues.
• Design and implement personalized treatment plans, engaging clients actively in setting measurable goals and monitoring progress throughout therapy.
• Serve as an advocate for clients, connecting them with vital community resources, such as housing support, financial aid, and social services to support their broader life needs.
• Facilitate crisis intervention services for clients experiencing acute psychological distress, including suicidal ideation, severe anxiety, and substance abuse challenges.
• Participate in educational and outreach activities aimed at increasing mental health awareness and reducing stigma within the school community.
• Maintain accurate documentation of client records, treatment plans, and progress notes in alignment with regulatory standards.
• Engage in regular supervision and mentorship opportunities to enhance professional skills and personal growth.

Your client focus will primarily involve students and their families, requiring a sensitive and adaptable approach. You will work with clients from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds, employing culturally competent practices to provide equitable care. Your therapeutic interventions will contribute significantly to improving the emotional resilience and academic performance of students, positively impacting their families and school environment.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
• A valid Vermont LCSW license, granting you the ability to practice independently.
• A nurturing, empathetic demeanor with a strong focus on client-centered care and inclusivity.
• Experience delivering effective therapy to a variety of clients, including individuals, couples, and families, particularly in crisis settings.
• Proficient understanding of HIPAA regulations and the ethical standards governing social work practice.

• At least two years of clinical experience, ideally in educational or community-based environments.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices and strategies to support clients facing unique challenges.
• Experience utilizing telehealth platforms and digital therapeutic tools to connect with clients.

InStride Health Associates offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
