The 2026-2027 salary and benefit package is being bargained. The below information is for 2025-2026 which gives a reference for possible pay.
Social Workers work together in a collaborative community with one another and with other special educators. Salary and benefits include starting at number of years of experience brought to the district (including private medical years), comprehensive insurance options, including affordable family coverage, paid membership to IASSW, free professional development, and a TRS pension plan paid by the district.
Salary range for 2025-2026: $57,143 - $101,374 plus additional $5,000 annual stipend ($2,500 at Christmas, $2,500 end of year).
This position falls under the Decatur Education Association (DEA) Contract - 2022-2026
