Job description

Summary: The Social Media Manager will serve a key role in both social media strategy and overall creative direction of Victory Church. Through content creation, creative support, and optimizing digital engagement, the Social Media Manager will help build and enhance our online presence to reflect our church's mission and vision. Additionally, this role will function as an associate to the Creative Pastor, supporting various departmental needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Social Media Management
  • Create and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to maximize engagement, reach, and impact.
  • Oversee, design, and schedule high-quality social media content and monitor metrics across all social accounts and platforms for all campuses.
  • Lead each campus' social media coordinators to guide and capture content needs.
  • Develop and maintain consistent brand voice and tone across all platforms.
  • Stay up to date with current social media and design trends to ensure channels remain relevant and engaging.

Creative Support
  • Assist Creative Pastor in developing concepts for campaigns to ensure consistent communication and visual presence.
  • Provide support with design tasks as needed.
  • Work with campus teams to deliver weekend graphics and other content.
  • Edit and publish weekly podcast to relevant platforms.
  • Oversee weekly photo editing for all campuses.

Supervisory functions: Has supervisory functions.
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
  • Candidates must submit social media and graphic design portfolios.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and analytics.
  • Experience in content creation, graphic design, and digital storytelling.
  • Basic experience in Adobe Creative apps, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere Pro.
  • Resourceful problem-solver who can manage multiple creative projects and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Strong communicator and team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
