The work is primarily remote, offering flexibility for our Clinical Social Workers while ensuring they remain integral to the school community. The position operates within a school framework, where the Social Worker will communicate frequently with school officials, parents, and students. • Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to identify students' emotional, social, and academic needs, utilizing standardized tools and personalized interviews.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized care plans in collaboration with students, families, and educational staff, aimed at fostering resilience and success.
• Provide counseling and emotional support through one-on-one and group sessions, particularly for students experiencing anxiety, depression, or social challenges.
• Facilitate communication among families, educators, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive support for students.
• Advocate for students’ access to resources within and outside the school, including mental health services and community support programs.
• Track progress and provide feedback about interventions while maintaining comprehensive, confidential documentation on each student’s case in compliance with ethical standards.
• Participate in stakeholder meetings, contributing insights and strategies to enhance student engagement and wellness initiatives.
• Educate families about available resources and strategies to support their child’s mental health and social development, fostering community connections.
• Stay updated with the latest research and trends in social work, education, and youth health, ensuring that practices remain relevant and effective.

This role predominantly focuses on school-aged children and adolescents, who may face challenges including but not limited to behavioral issues, emotional disturbances, and social adaptation difficulties. By actively engaging with students and their families, you will help foster a supportive school environment that prioritizes mental well-being and academic success.

• Required: Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Pennsylvania.
• A minimum of two years of experience in a social work role, ideally within a school or community-based setting, providing services to youth.
• Strong understanding of child development principles, issues related to aging, and local community resources available for family support.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems, including documentation of assessments and interventions.

• Experience in crisis intervention, trauma-informed care, and working within educational systems.
• Familiarity with mindfulness practices and expressive therapies that support emotional well-being.
• Understanding of school policies surrounding mental health and disability services, including Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).

The position offers a competitive annual salary range of $60,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience.
