Our headquarters are in Golden Valley, MN, with soccer operations based at the MNUFC Training Center in Blaine. On matchdays, we call Allianz Field in St. Paul home-one of the premier soccer-specific stadiums in the country.
Position:
The Manager, Inside Sales is part of the Ticket Sales and Service department for Minnesota United FC (MNUFC), a sports business located in the Twins Cities area of Minnesota and a member of Major League Soccer (MLS), the top tier soccer league in North America.
Position Summary:
Minnesota United are seeking a highly organized, passionate, hard-working, dedicated leader to maximize revenue through the sale of full and partial season tickets.
The Manager, Inside Sales position oversees all facets of the Club's Inside Sales program and is responsible for leading, developing, and motivating a team of Inside Sales Representatives. This role requires a results-driven sales leader who can execute outbound sales campaigns, drive prospecting efforts, develop future sales talent, and contribute to a high-performance sales culture. The ideal candidate will be equally comfortable coaching sales representatives, building strategic prospecting programs, and personally engaging with prospective clients to drive ticket revenue.
This full-time position is based in Golden Valley, MN and will report to the Director, Business Development.

What You'll Do:
  • Directly supervise, coach, and develop a team of six Inside Sales Representatives, fostering accountability and consistent achievement of sales goals.
  • Manage and monitor day-to-day lead flow and campaign activity across all channels, ensuring Inside Sales Representatives are effectively executing outbound new business efforts.
  • Lead the recruiting, interviewing, and hiring process for Inside Sales Representatives while building a long-term talent pipeline through relationships with local colleges and universities.
  • Drive the onboarding, training, and professional development of Inside Sales Representatives to accelerate sales performance and career growth.
  • Serve as a key contributor to the Ticket Sales Leadership Team by developing and delivering department-wide sales training programs and best practices.
  • Champion a winning sales culture through contests, power hours, team-building events, recognition programs, and other engagement initiatives.
  • Provide hands-on coaching through call monitoring, one-on-one development sessions, and active participation in sales meetings.
  • Model the organization's ideal sales process and serve as a lead revenue producer when necessary by assisting with high-value sales opportunities and closing season ticket accounts.
  • Plan, lead, and execute prospect-facing events, including game-day prospect experiences, stadium tours, select-a-seat events, and other sales-focused activations.
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM systems and provide regular reporting on team performance, pipeline activity, and sales results.
  • Support other department initiatives and responsibilities as assigned.

What You'll Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in related field, or combination of education and work experience.
  • 3+ years of ticket sales experience in sports or related industry.
  • Previous experience and success in selling season tickets.
  • Previous experience managing a team in selling environment preferred.
  • Ability to train, coach, and motivate ticket sales representatives.
  • Ability to maintain a flexible work schedule (evenings and weekends).
  • Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are a plus.

Compensation & Benefits:
Minnesota United FC values the contributions of our team members and is committed to transparency in our compensation practices. The base compensation range for this role is $60,000 - $65,000 annually, plus incentive compensation.
