JOB SUMMARY
Elite Tournaments is looking for a creative and motivated Digital Media Intern to join the team. This intern will support both pre-event and post-event media efforts, including video editing, graphic design, and social media content. This intern will have the option to be on-site at events capturing dynamic content - photos, videos, and social clips - and transforming that raw footage into engaging digital assets for various platforms. This role is a great opportunity for a student or recent graduate to build their portfolio and gain hands-on experience in sports media and digital marketing.
EVENT COVERAGE
- Capture high-quality photos and video footage during Elite Tournaments events
- Shoot short-form video for Instagram Stories, Reels, and TikTok
- Work with Elite Staff to conduct quick, informal player/coach interviews
- Organize and label footage post-event for editing workflows
- Other duties as assigned
CONTENT CREATION & EDITING
- Create engaging recap videos highlighting weekend action, atmosphere, and key moments
- Edit photos and videos from events for use across social platforms
- Design branded graphics (game-day posts, final scores, event promotions)
- Assist with storytelling around players, teams, and partner organizations)
- Maintain visual consistency with Elite Tournaments branding and partner guidelines
- Other duties as assigned
SOCIAL MEDIA SUPPORT
- Support live event coverage through real-time content (stories, reels, behind-the-scenes clips)
- Help schedule or draft posts during and after events
- Identify and apply social trends, audio, and styles to enhance content relevance and engagement
- Collaborate with the marketing team on creative ideas for video and visual campaigns

QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Experience with photography and videography (equipment access is a plus)
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (especially Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and/or Illustrator), Canva or similar tools
- Superior oral and written communication skills
- Effective organizational skills for management of multiple tasks
- Creativity in brainstorming and executing content creation
- Obtaining a bachelor's degree in a degree in Digital Media, Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or related field
- Available on weekends for tournament coverage (travel may be required)
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Strong understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, etc.)
- Extensive knowledge of the youth sports landscape and particularly the youth soccer and lacrosse tournament club, sector, and demographic in the United States.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to work weekends, irregular hours, and travel as needed
- Valid driver's license and safe driving record
- Reliable transportation
- Employment contingent upon successful completion of a background check
