Do you love working with young children? Are you energetic, dependable, and looking for a meaningful hands-on experience? Soccer Shots is seeking passionate interns who want to make a positive impact on children and families in their community!WHO IS SOCCER SHOTS? We are the leader in youth soccer development! Our internationally recognized program offers a high-energy, fun, age-appropriate introduction to youth sports. Soccer Shots blends education, soccer, and FUN into high-energy soccer sessions for kids ages 18-months to 8 years old throughout the DC/MD/VA area at local preschools, elementary schools, community centers, and parks. Our goal is simple: To leave a lasting, positive impact on every child we serve!

THE INTERNSHIP: Looking to gain experience both on the field and in the office, where you can make a positive impact in your community? Become a Soccer Shots Intern! You'll laugh, break a sweat, and inspire the next generation of soccer stars, all while gaining valuable experience behind the scenes. From coaching on the field to supporting marketing efforts, business operations, and community events, no two days are the same!
REQUIREMENTS: Passion for positively impacting children's lives through the love of sports and fitness!
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Prior soccer experience is not required- prior experience working with children is preferred
  • Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle- that is insured
  • Transportation Requirement: Reliable transportation is required. Interns must be able to commute to our Burtonsville office (3919 National Drive, Burtonsville, MD 20866 - Suite 300) and travel to coaching sites located approximately 30-45 minutes away
  • Must be able to pass a background check
  • FALL Internship Dates: August 17 - December 4, 2026
  • Hours: 30+ hours per week
  • Must be able to work on the weekends

**This internship is primarily a coaching role, allowing you to lead fun, engaging soccer sessions while also gaining experience supporting community events, business operations, and marketing initiatives in the office.
