Job description

Position Summary

Continental Wellness Center is seeking a dynamic and mission-driven Business Development

& Marketing Coordinator to lead community outreach and strategic partnerships for our

“Know Your Status” HIV prevention program. As a Ryan White service provider, we are

committed to expanding access to HIV testing, prevention (including PrEP), and supportive

services for underserved populations.

This role is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with rehabilitation centers,

transitional housing programs, sober living facilities, and behavioral health treatment

centers to increase awareness, referrals, and engagement in HIV prevention services. The

ideal candidate is highly personable, self-motivated, and passionate about public health and

community impact.

Key Responsibilities

● Develop and implement outreach strategies to promote the “Know Your Status” HIV

testing and prevention program.

● Build and maintain partnerships with:

○ Rehabilitation centers

○ Transitional housing programs

○ Sober living facilities

○ Substance use and mental health treatment centers

○ Other Community Partners

● Conduct on-site outreach, presentations, and educational sessions on HIV prevention, testing, and PrEP services.

● Serve as the primary liaison between Continental Wellness Center and community partner organizations.

● Generate and track referrals for HIV testing, PrEP enrollment, and Ryan White services.

● Coordinate community events, testing drives, and awareness campaigns.

● Develop marketing materials (flyers, brochures, digital content) aligned with program goals.

● Maintain outreach logs, partnership records, and reporting data for compliance and performance tracking.

● Collaborate with clinical and case management teams to ensure seamless linkage to care.

● Identify new partnership opportunities and expand the organization’s community presence.

● Support grant-related outreach reporting and performance metrics.

Qualifications

● Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Health, Communications, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)

● Minimum 2–3 years experience in community outreach, business development, or healthcare marketing

● Experience working with HIV/AIDS programs, behavioral health, or substance use populations preferred

● Familiarity with Ryan White program services is a plus

● Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally within Broward County

● Strong relationship-building and networking abilities

● Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills

● Knowledge of HIV prevention, testing, and PrEP (or willingness to learn quickly)

● Cultural competency and ability to work with diverse and vulnerable populations

● Self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills

● Data tracking and reporting proficiency

● Basic marketing and branding skills (social media, print materials, outreach campaigns)

● Bilingual preferred

Work Environment & Expectations

● Frequent local travel to partner sites and community events

● Combination of fieldwork and in-office responsibilities

● Some evening or weekend outreach events may be required
