Psychiatric Recovery House, Inc. is actively seeking dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT) to join our innovative psychotherapy group practice. This remote full-time position allows therapists to work in a flexible environment focused on providing exceptional care while enjoying the benefits of a healthy work-life balance.

Work Environment

This is a remote position, offering you the freedom to manage your schedule and work from the comfort of your home in Tampa, Florida. Our clinicians generally manage a caseload ranging from 10 to 30 billable hours per week, with an emphasis on flexibility and autonomy over your practice. We also encourage opportunities for remote or in-person group consultations, nurturing a collaborative and supportive atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct diagnostic evaluations and provide tailored short-term psychotherapy for clients, ensuring the delivery of effective and compassionate services.
  • Engage in a variety of therapeutic modalities, including individual, family, and group therapy sessions, focusing on mental health and dual diagnoses.
  • Provide crisis intervention, brief therapy, skills training, supportive therapy, stress management, couples counseling, addictions counseling, and family therapy.
  • Utilize the latest Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) to conduct assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans.
  • Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and psychologists to ensure effective treatment delivery, especially for complex cases or those requiring coordination of care.
  • Maintain comprehensive charts and documentation, preparing reports and engaging with external agencies as needed to gather vital information for treatment.
  • Participate in clinical consultations and interdisciplinary team meetings to foster comprehensive treatment planning and decision-making.
  • Stay abreast of best practices and evidence-based interventions to enhance the quality of therapeutic services offered to clients.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As an LMFT at Psychiatric Recovery House, you will work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals, couples, and families. Our patient population primarily consists of those coping with mental health conditions and dual disorders, requiring tailored clinical interventions to support their recovery journeys. Your expertise will be instrumental in creating strategies that address the unique needs of each client while fostering a nurturing therapeutic relationship.

Qualifications
  • Must possess a valid LMFT license or equivalent doctoral level degree (Psy.D) to practice in Florida.
  • A Master's or Doctorate in psychology, marriage and family therapy, or social work from an accredited institution is essential.
  • A minimum of two years' experience providing psychotherapy services is required.
  • Experience with telehealth platforms and electronic health records is preferred, as we conduct all client services via telehealth.
Preferred Experience
  • Demonstrated competence in working across various evidence-based treatment modalities for diverse client scenarios.
  • Experience in crisis management and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care outcomes.
Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 75,000 to 125,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
