Also responsible for creating and submitting surgical encounters in Soarian for billing. Obtains and verifies all patient demographics and insurance information. Obtains authorization for surgery and works directly with surgeons to ensure procedure and diagnosis codes are accurate for billing. Works closely with supporting departments to ensure surgeries are scheduled and coded properly. Practices Baptist Health's mission of service excellence in providing professional, compassionate and friendly service to our patients and physicians. Estimated pay range for this position is $18.87 - $22.83 / hour depending on experience.
