Provides administrative support to the Sales, Marketing and Catering Sales group, by assisting them with general administrative duties, correspondence, database, account profile and file maintenance, report generation, and sales appointment scheduling. Works alongside the group sales team as well as the catering team maintaining all sales reporting and tracking.
Assists sales managers with internal and external customers in the Group and Catering Market, providing support in achieving the department's goals and objectives. Supports the overall department process, acting as a liaison along with external channels and customers. Supports teams to meet local catering sales goals, group and social rooms and event revenue goals, event planning and upselling of miscellaneous revenue.
For Local Catering the ideal candidate will ensure inquiries, prospects and definite bookings are entered and routinely updated in Delphi.
For Event Service, the ideal candidate will ensure Banquet Event Orders, Group & Social Resumes, 30-Day Event Communication, Weekly Event Communication, Amenities, Forecasting Rooms, Food & Beverage and all tasks listed are achieved in a timely manner to the satisfaction of the managers and the customers.
Assist where necessary to ensure optimum service to guests, visitors and other departments at Stein's and Chateaux.

Position Summary:

Supports the overall department process, acting as a liaison along with external channels and customers. Supports teams to meet local catering sales goals, group and social rooms and event revenue goals, event planning and upselling of miscellaneous revenue.
Assist where necessary to ensure optimum service to guests, visitors and other departments at Stein Eriksen Lodge and Chateaux.
Essential Functions:
  • Monday through Friday, 9am-5pm schedule.
  • Personal contact with groups
  • Entering information correctly in computer (group booking, rooming list, etc.)
  • Giving out accurate information
  • Finding out billing for rooms/individuals/groups
  • Attend weekly sales meeting
  • Making sure to get a signed group block guarantee or rooming list
  • Additional duties as assigned

Preferred Education & Experience:
High School diploma required/some college preferred.
