We're a lean team that's expanding quickly, and we're looking for someone who believes in our vision to shift the way people experience scents.

The Role:
Snif is looking for a Retail Sales Manager to support the day-to-day business for the Retail Sales Team.  This role is an integral part of supporting the brand's presence at existing retailers and an opportunity to be a key player in future expansion opportunities.
You will work closely with the Sales Team, including Sales Leadership, on supporting administration needs to support new and existing products and activations.  This includes weekly navigation and input in retailer portals, pulling and summarizing sales reports, and overseeing data storage and organization.
This role requires a high level of organization and attention to specifics, looking for someone who is thorough and detail oriented by nature.  As we are a fully remote business, the ideal candidate is a self-starter who proactively sources solutions and solves problems.
What You'll Do:
Account Setup and Maintenance:
  • Input and update all SKU data in retailer portals
  • Fill out and submit all needed templates and forms for retailer placements and activations
  • Oversee and support retailer.com review tracking
  • Own and update master data sheets as needed to ensure accuracies between brand and partners
Account Manager and Sales Leader Support:
  • Work closely with account managers and sales leaders to support administration needs
  • Aid in overseeing calendars and schedules for retailers (internal and consumer facing)
  • Attend all necessary meetings, take notes and initiate follow-ups needed
Coordinate and Collate Retail Sales Reports:
  • Pull and collate weekly sales reports
  • Provide weekly readout and analysis of results, including performance to budget, inventory callouts and opportunities to fulfill
  • Capture and catalogue sales trends related to promotional and secondary activations for future planning and analysis
  • Capture and catalogue retailer and competitive brand activities for future roadmap planning
Cross-Functional Communication:
  • Proactively communicate needs to cross-functional partners to support retail activities
  • Coordinate, catalogue and track projects impacting retailer opportunities
  • Maintain and update cross-functional calendars to ensure transparency and awareness of all retail activities for brand needing cross-functional engagement and support
What You'll Bring:
  • 2+ years of sales coordinator experience supporting account managers and sales leaders calling on large National retail chains
  • Experience with supporting accounts servicing Ulta
  • Comfortable organizing, maintaining, and streamlining workflows across multiple retailer portals
  • Strong ownership mentality and comfort navigating ambiguity in a startup environment
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally
  • Curiosity, rigor, and a desire to continuously improve processes and outputs

  • Proven success at a fast-paced startup in the in beauty, fragrance, or personal care space
  • Passion for scented products, including fragrance, body care, candles, or laundry 
  • Experience supporting external agencies
