Job Overview:
The Boating Center Attendant is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, organized, and welcoming environment at the Boating Center. This position supports weekend and holiday operations of the dock, snack shack, restrooms, pavilions, including rentals, and surrounding grounds while providing excellent customer service to members and their guests.
The Boating Center is open Saturday's, Sunday and holiday's including Memorial Day, July 4th and Labor Day.
Your Responsibilities:
    • Clean dock each morning, including hosing down and removing debris.
    • Inspect, sanitize, and restock restrooms in the morning and monitor throughout the day to ensure they remain clean at all times.
    • Set up snack shack for daily operations.
    • Patrol the parking lot, walking loop, and trail leading to the Pavilion to collect trash throughout the day.
    • Maintain boating center picnic area by blowing leaves and clearing debris.
    • Monitor parking and boat launch compliance to ensure these are used by Brandermill members.
    • Record daily snack sales and pricing in designated notebook.
    • Secure and properly dispose of bagged trash.
    • Ensure boating center, snack shack, menus, and signage are secured, organized, and locked at the end of each day.
    • Power wash and thoroughly clean all boats to maintain a consistently neat and presentable appearance.
    • Remove trash and debris from the reservoir using a net.
    • Maintain proper cash handling procedures:
      • Ensure cash lock box remains secured at all times.
      • Store cash in locked money bag inside the secured gray bolted cash box.
    • Ensure BCA Member liability forms are properly completed and filed.
    • Maintain accurate snack inventory records and communicate supply needs to Parks and Recreation Manager.

Skills & Qualifications:
  • Ability to work independently and maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Reliable and responsible with cash handling.
  • Ability to perform light physical tasks (walking, lifting, cleaning, power washing).
  • Professional appearance and strong customer service skills.

Compensation: $15.00 per hour
