Job description

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Snack Shack Outfitter will provide prompt, friendly service to guests while maintaining all food and health compliance standards in a fast-paced retail environment. This individual will complete the food and drink preparation following the company expectations, complete the sales transactions through point of sale and support other functions including stocking, cleaning and sanitizing within the coffee shop.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Supports a strong commitment to world class customer service and ensures a pleasant and productive shopping experience for all guests.
  • Ensures compliance with operational standards, company policies, safety and sanitation guidelines, federal/state/local laws and ordinances.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of the entire food and beverage menu and its preparation.
  • Receive and process payments through point of sale register.
  • Clean and maintain all brewing equipment and report any maintenance needs promptly.
  • Support and maintain inventory of all supplies and food products utilized in the coffee shop.
  • Remains knowledgeable of all current promotions for the coffee shop and the retail store.
  • Maintains cleanliness, sanitation and organization of the work area and coffee shop.
  • ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Preferred Degree: High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Years of experience: 1 Year

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:
  • Excellent organization skills and attention to details.
  • Ability to utilize recipes to create customer orders.
  • Ability to maintain a neat and clean workspace.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Adaptability to new processes and procedures.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
  • N/A

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Regularly walks, stands, and lifts up to 50 lbs.
Occasionally does computer work.
Seldom/Never sits.
INDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT:
Performs tasks and duties under direct supervision, using well-defined policies and procedures. Work is reviewed by supervisor. Limited opportunity exists for exercising independent judgment and decision making.
