Description
FII USA, Inc., a Foxconn Technology Group Company, is seeking a Director of Facilities to provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for all facility infrastructure, utilities, and building systems supporting our advanced SMT manufacturing operations. This executive-level role is responsible for developing long-term facilities strategies, ensuring operational excellence, maintaining regulatory compliance, and driving continuous improvement across multiple functional areas.
The Director of Facilities plays a critical role in enabling high-performance manufacturing by ensuring infrastructure reliability, scalability, safety, and cost efficiency across all production and support spaces, including cleanroom and ESD-sensitive environments.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the overall facilities strategy, ensuring infrastructure and utilities support current manufacturing operations and future growth.
  • Develop long-term facility planning, including expansion projects, infrastructure upgrades, and manufacturing layout optimization.
  • Direct and mentor the facilities team, including facilities engineers, technicians, and external contractors.
  • Establish operational standards, preventive maintenance programs, and performance metrics for facility operations.
  • Oversee facility infrastructure including HVAC, electrical systems, power distribution, plumbing, compressed air, lighting, and building security systems.
  • Ensure reliable and uninterrupted utilities to support SMT production lines, cleanroom environments, and ESD-sensitive manufacturing processes.
  • Oversee power distribution systems, load balancing, and electrical infrastructure to meet production equipment requirements.
  • Maintain oversight of backup power systems, emergency infrastructure, and critical utility systems.
  • Lead facility infrastructure projects including electrical upgrades, facility expansions, equipment installations, and renovations.
  • Review and approve electrical system designs, single-line diagrams, load calculations, and facility modifications.
  • Partner with Manufacturing Engineering and Equipment teams to ensure facility readiness for new equipment installations, including power, network connectivity, and space planning.
  • Manage capital expenditure planning, budgeting, and project execution.
  • Ensure full compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations including OSHA, NFPA, EPA, NEC, and local building codes.
  • Oversee electrical safety programs, including arc flash assessments, compliance documentation, and facility risk mitigation.
  • Implement energy efficiency, sustainability, and cost-reduction initiatives across facility operations.
  • Maintain documentation for inspections, maintenance records, and regulatory compliance.
  • Manage vendor relationships for facility services including construction, utilities, maintenance, pest control, and security systems.
  • Develop and manage departmental budgets, forecasts, and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Evaluate vendor performance and ensure service quality and cost effectiveness.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in facilities management, facilities engineering, or infrastructure leadership within a manufacturing or high-tech environment.
  • Strong knowledge of building infrastructure systems including electrical distribution, HVAC, utilities, and facility maintenance programs.
  • Experience supporting automated manufacturing environments such as SMT, semiconductor, electronics, or other high-reliability production environments.
  • Working knowledge of electrical and safety standards including NEC, NFPA, OSHA, and EPA regulations.
  • Familiarity with cleanroom operations, ESD control, and manufacturing facility infrastructure.
  • Experience managing capital projects, facility expansions, and cross-functional infrastructure initiatives.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD, electrical modeling software, and Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management experience.
  • Driver's License Required
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
