JOB SUMMARY:

This position serves as the operational arm of the Utah Jazz and Utah Mammoth youth enablement department within Smith Entertainment Group. The Youth Enablement Coordinator is responsible for keeping youth initiatives organized, measured, and running smoothly behind the scenes. From managing partner tool kits and onboarding to tracking procurement and reporting on campaign performance, this role ensures that the youth department operates efficiently and delivers on its commitments. The right candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working across multiple projects simultaneously in a part-time capacity. The ideal candidate will bring a growth mindset and a genuine desire to elevate what's possible - always looking for ways to improve, innovate, and push youth initiatives forward.

This unique opportunity is a seasonal position that follows the schedule of the school district in the area you live! Schedule is generally 9:00am-2:30pm Monday through Friday with all school holidays, teacher comp days, early out and/or late start days, and summers off. This position is hourly and part-time.

  • Track, organize, and fulfill promo item inventory to support events, campaigns, and partner deliverables.
  • Design, field, and analyze surveys and voice-of-customer research to gather feedback on youth programs and initiatives.
  • Build and maintain reporting dashboards that measure campaign performance, event attendance, survey results, and other key metrics for the youth department.
  • Own the youth marketing content calendar, coordinating timing across campaigns, events, web updates, and partner communications to keep all workstreams aligned.
  • Support the onboarding of new youth partners and community organizations, helping them get oriented to processes, resources, and expectations.
  • Collaborate closely with the youth and marketing departments to ensure operational needs are met across all active initiatives.
  • Take ownership of assignments and complete them with positivity and attention to detail.
  • Jump in wherever needed to help the team succeed.
  • Bring fresh energy and ideas to the team and exemplify a team-player mindset.
  • Exemplify the Smith Entertainment Group mission and values: transparent, all in, community obsessed, one team, and scrappy.
  • Protect the legal, financial, and moral well-being of the company.
  • Accept other duties, as assigned.

COMPETENCIES:

  • Builds Relationships - Thrives in developing relationships with partners, vendors, and internal teams in collaborative and meaningful ways.
  • Team Mentality - Cares about the success of teammates as much as their own and demonstrates it through their actions.
