Job description

Objective:
Assist in implementing the SMI Quality system at designated SMI facility
Assist in ensuring that product and services are above customer expectations
Assist in ensuring that plant has an active training program.
Perform plant quality checks per SMI’s Quality Improvement Process (QIP)
Organizational Dimensions:
Reports to (to be determined)
Coordinates with VP’s, Area Managers and customers to ensure customer expectations
are exceeded.
Works directly with plant employees on training and quality issues.
Key Responsibilities:
Quality Planning
Improve and implement the SMI quality system to ensure compliance with customer
requirements.
Provide periodic feedback of plants’ quality performance to personnel.
