This is a quota-carrying individual contributor role responsible for selling enterprise SaaS, AI, customer experience, workforce management, and digital transformation solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • The successful Regional Business Growth - Director will own their geographic territory.
  • They will generate new accounts, new business opportunities and grow sales in the assigned region.
  • Identify opportunities involving: Customer Experience (CX), AI and Digital Transformation CRM, Billing and Payment Modernization, Workforce and Field Service Management, Demand Response and Grid Modernization, Energy Efficiency and eMobility programs
  • This candidate needs to be energetic, outgoing, proactive, creative and have attention to detail with outstanding sales and networking skills.
  • Input and maintain all prospect and client activity in Salesforce.
  • Champion changes to remain aligned with SEW's vision and goals as well as the industry, market, and client needs.
  • Contribute to the engagement, growth, development, and positive experience of others within SEW.
  • Partner with SEW Regional Business Growth Leadership to define the optimal performance measurements and management priorities to increase sales performance.
  • Maintain thorough understanding of SEW's solutions and tailor presentations to meet the needs of different types of businesses.
  • New Clients qualification, developing assigned region, sound regional planning, understanding client's business & objectives, educating clients on our portfolio of solutions, identifying ways we can assist clients in meeting their business needs, prioritizing activities, and closing revenue opportunities.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field; MBA or equivalent preferred
  • 10+ years of business development experience, selling to Fortune 500 software companies or city utilities and municipalities
  • 5+ years' sales management experience in a business-to-business environment
  • Open to learn new platform technologies and gain deep knowledge of past platform wins to drive growth.
  • Strong foundation for strategic and tactical enterprise solution selling and developing client relationships.
  • Highly evolved presentation and negotiation skills about platform.
  • Motivated to advance growth in an entrepreneurial, rapidly growing company environment.
  • Proven track record of prospecting, cultivating and closing new business.
