Job description

Job Description One Tech Engineering is searching for a GIS Analyst for a position located in Denver, Colorado; Minneapolis, Minnesota; and Eau Claire, Wisconsin. The GIS Analyst will support day-to-day GIS team operations, including data extraction, regulatory data requests, and creating interactive maps using Esri products. The candidate must be a US citizen or hold a green card.

The candidate should have 3-7 years of related GIS, Geography, or Geospatial experience. GIS Analyst Responsibilities: Perform data analysis using tools such as Databricks. Complete and prioritize tasks through JIRA.

Handle work ranging from simple data requests to multi-day analysis and mapping projects. Perform data extraction and support more complex analysis and mapping tasks. Requirements of the GIS Analyst: Bachelor's degree in Geography, GIS, or a related field.

3-7 years of experience in GIS, Geography, or geospatial analysis. Utility industry experience (gas or electric) is highly desirable. Proficiency with Esri / ArcGIS and Python.

Experience with data extraction, reporting, analysis, and Databricks. Strong problem-solving skills. Prior experience using GE Smallworld, MAGIC, and SAP is nice to have.
