Job description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a hardworking and reliable General Construction Laborer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks including fixing doors, repairing walls, and performing internal residential construction work. Additionally, the laborer will assist with external tasks such as raking, fencing, and small landscaping projects. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong work ethic and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Fixing and installing interior and exterior doors, including handles, hinges, and locks.
  • Ensuring all door installations and repairs meet safety and quality standards.
  • Repairing and maintaining interior walls, including patching holes, fixing drywall, and painting.
  • Assisting with the construction of new walls and partitions as needed.
  • Performing a variety of tasks to assist with the construction and renovation of residential properties.
  • Raking leaves, clearing debris, and maintaining the cleanliness of the construction site.
  • Assisting with the installation and repair of fencing.
  • Performing small landscaping projects such as planting, trimming, and maintaining gardens and lawns.
  • Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Reporting any safety hazards or concerns to the site supervisor immediately.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in construction or a related field is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Ability to operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
  • Strong physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor for extended periods.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
