Experienced Hardscape Installer / Landscape InstallerMaine Outdoor Spaces Standish, Maine
Full-Time | $28.00-$32.00 per hour (based on experience)

Maine Outdoor Spaces is hiring an Experienced Hardscape Installer / Landscape Installer to join our team.
We are looking for a skilled landscape professional with strong experience in hardscape installation, paver patios, retaining walls, grading, and outdoor living projects.
This is not an entry-level landscaping position. Were looking for someone who understands proper base prep, layout, equipment operation, and high-quality installation standards.
If you take pride in building beautiful outdoor spaces and can work independently with minimal supervision, we want to talk to you.
What Youll Do under supervision of the crew leader:
  • Install paver patios, walkways, and outdoor living spaces
  • Build retaining walls and hardscape features
  • Perform proper excavation, grading, and base preparation
  • Install softscape elements as part of finished projects
  • Read and follow landscape plans and layout drawings
  • Operate skid steers and mini excavators safely
  • Use laser transits for accurate grading and layout
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional job site
  • Keep projects moving efficiently
  • Lead small crews when needed
What You Must Have
  • 2+ years experience in hardscape or landscape installation
  • Experience installing pavers and retaining walls
  • Ability to read and follow landscape plans
  • Experience operating skid steers and mini excavators
  • Experience using a laser level or transit
  • Valid drivers license (non-CDL)
  • Strong work ethic and professionalism
Preferred (But Not Required)
  • Basic masonry experience
  • Experience leading a small landscape crew
  • Strong understanding of grading and drainage
