The Speech-Language Pathologist II delivers high-quality patient care and family training through evaluation, treatment planning, and the application of speech-language therapy techniques in accordance with regulatory standards and City of Hope. This role also serves as a rehabilitation consultant for complex cases, oversees student internships and clinical education, and leads the development of clinical programs and treatment protocols.
Note: This is a full-time position in both acute care and outpatient. Minimum requirements include 2 years of recent experience in a medical setting and clinical competence in swallowing, speech, language, and cognitive-linguistics. Candidate must be independent with Modified Barium Swallow Study (MBSS), Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES), and management of head/neck cancer. Preferred experience in Videostroboscopy. This role may include weekend coverage, as needed.
