Job description

Step into a rewarding contract role supporting elementary students as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) within a school-based environment near Reynoldsburg, OH. In this position, you'll make a significant impact on young learners by addressing their communication challenges and fostering their growth. This opportunity spans the 2026-2027 academic year, beginning August 20, 2026, and continuing through May 27, 2027. Work a steady schedule of 37.5 hours each week and help manage a weighted caseload averaging in the high 60s to low 70s.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA
  • Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Proven experience working with pediatric and/or elementary school populations
  • Strong background in individualized education plan (IEP) development and implementation
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills with diverse stakeholders
  • Familiarity with school-based SLP best practices
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for elementary students
  • Design and deliver therapy sessions tailored to meet individualized student needs within the school setting
  • Write, review, and revise IEPs in collaboration with school teams and families
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports for each student on your caseload
  • Provide consultation and guidance to teachers and parents on communication strategies
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to a positive school environment
  • Stay current with research and best practices through ongoing professional development
